THOUSANDS OF TESLAS "PAVE" SHANGHAI PORT as EV Maker Replaces Subsidy

Last night we received this video from Wu Wa showing how thousands of Tesla Model Y and Model 3 electric vehicles had almost "paved" Shanghai port waiting for delivery. But Tesla is also acting quickly and offering a new incentive as a replacement of the expiring 2022 government incentives.

Tesla Giga Shanghai drone operator Wu Wa, says he was "expecting them to be shipped out this week, but there were no ships in sight, a small cargo ship was docked on the dock and cars of other brands were parked on the dock."

Keep in mind that these Teslas are for different markets. If you watch carefully you will see some cars with the steering wheels on the right side as well.

On another brighter note, Tesla has kicked off 2023 in China by announcing several new promotions that will allow customers to take up to ¥10,000 off their Model 3 or Model Y purchase. The incentives are only for a limited time and are meant to replicate the national subsidy that expired at the end of 2022.
