BREAKING! Elon Musk Writes an Exceptional Tweet About Tesla's Q1 Deliveries

"This was an *exceptionally* difficult quarter due to supply chain interruptions & China zero Covid policy," CEO Elon Musk tweeted today, referring to Tesla's Q1 deliveries.

He also recognized the outstanding work Tesla team and suppliers did in the 1st quarter of 2022, writing "Outstanding work by Tesla team & key suppliers saved the day," on his Twitter channel.

Tesla delivered an all-time high 310,048 vehicles in Q1, beating Wall St expectations of 309k. Total Q1 production was 305,407.

This is an incredible result for the first quarter of the year. Historically, in the first quarter, vehicle sales, including Tesla’s, sharply decreases due to cold weather-related logistics difficulties, holiday-associated expenditures, and tax liabilities.

The supply chain disruptions are nothing new or special to Tesla. Currently, almost all auto OEMs have been forced to idle their factories since they are unable to get enough parts to build their vehicles.
