Maneater Bass Cover

RIP Tom “T-Bone” Wolk who died on this date in 2010. In case you did not know, T-Bone was an incredible bass player and multi-instrumentalist best known for his work with Hall and Oates.

“Maneater” by Hall and Oates off of their album, “H2O” which came out in 1982.

Daryl Hall lives in Millerton, NY and owns a recording studio not far from there in Pawling, NY called “A-Pawling Studios”. I’ve had the privilege of recording there with a few different people over the years and it’s a wonderful place. Wonderful, mostly because of the house engineer, Peter Moshay. His name is on quite a few gold records. It was always great when I could get Peter talking about T-Bone (and his awesome sounding Gibson Ripper bass which he used on a lot of recordings). Peter also did all the live mixing on the Daryl’s House Show episodes and, when we’re lucky, we can find him behind the board at the Daryl’s House Club, which is right down the street from the studio, working his magic. He's a busy man, but never too busy to say hello..

Please find attached, an unlisted cover of another Hall and Oates song I did a few years back that didn’t make the cut -
