Don't Kill The Whale Bass Cover HD

You're first I'm last
You're thirst I'm asked to justify
Killing our last heaven beast
Don't hunt the whale

In beauty vision
Do we offer much
If we reason with destiny, gonna lose our touch
Don't kill the whale

Rejoice they sing
They worship their own space
In a moment of love, they will die for their grace
Don't kill the whale

If time will allow
We will judge all who came
In the wake of our new age to stand for the frail
Don't kill the whale

CETACEI....

For a while there, I was doing so well at keeping current with responding to comments, but, regrettably, I’ve fallen behind again and, for that, I am sorry.
I just wanted to post something as a vehicle to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday.
I did this just yesterday morning and posted it in a Facebook Rickenbacker Group where it got some favorable response. This is what I wrote for that post - “I'm not much of an "effects" guy, but I was doing a cover of this YES song and remembered I had an old Boss SYB-3 in the hutch.”

It’s a re-do of “Don’t Kill The Whale” by YES off of their “Tormato” which came out in 1978 and, of course, featured the late, great Chris Squire on bass. It's not really a "note for note" rendition of the song as I came up with a rhythmic pattern for the verse sections that I was comfortable with and went with that, but it's in the ballpark.

I'm playing the Rickenbacker 4000 (converted from a 4003S) which is fitted with a Zero-Mod Thumb-rest as well as a Classic-Amplification brand bridge pick-up.
