Paschal Mystery: Lamb of God and the Prophet

For almost 2000 Years Christians have celebrated the Paschal Mystery that God Himself gave to them. It is the greatest gift that their beloved gave to them because through it, God, the Resurrected Jewish Messiah, gives Himself to His Bride and His Bride gives herself to Him and the two becomes one flesh: One in body and One in Love.
The Church had this great mystery in mind when they created the Holy Bible. In the following video I have attempted to catch a glimpse of this great and wonderful mystery.

1. Over 3300 years ago, God told the Israelites, to procure an unblemished male lamb. They were to sacrifice the lamb. The sacrifice took place when the blood, which contained the life of the lamb, was separated from its body. They were to take the blood and spread it on the house in which they were in. Then they were to take the body of the lamb with its blood drained out and eat it with unleavened bread. Every year, they were to keep the Passover as a "Day of Remembrance" of when God saved them and delivered them from slavery. Any person who did not keep this annual Passover celebration was to be cut off from the people. Exodus 12 Numbers 9: 1-14

2. At Mount Sinai, Moses came down from the mountain to the people and they all answered with one voice, "We will do everything that the LORD has told us." Moses built at the foot of the mountain an altar and twelve sacred stones for the twelve tribes of Israel. Sacrifices were made on the altar as communion offerings to the LORD. Moses took half of the blood and put it in large bowls; the other half he splashed on the altar. Taking the book of the covenant, he read it aloud to the people, who answered, "All that the LORD has said, we will hear and do." Then he took the blood and splashed it on the people, saying, "This is the blood of the covenant which the LORD has made with you according to all these words." Moses and others then went up on the mountain and ate and drank with the Lord. Exodus 24: 1-12

3. The prophet Moses said to the Israelites: 'A prophet like me will the Lord, your God, raise up for you from among your own kinsmen; to him you shall listen. Everyone who does not listen to that prophet will be cut off from the people. Deuteronomy 18:18-19, Acts 3: 22-23

4. On seeing Jesus coming to him, John the Baptist said "Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world. John 1: 29

5. Luke 6: 12-13

6. John 6: 1-15

7. John 6: 27

8. John 6: 35

9. John 6: 47 - 51

10. John 6: 53-56

11. Matt 17: 2-5

12. Matt 26: 26-30

13. Matt 26: 30 Luke 22: 44

14. John 19: 33-34

15. John 20

16. Matt 26: 26-30 Mk 14; 22-26 Luke 22: 19-20 1 Cor 11: 23

17. Acts 3: 13-15 Acts 3: 22-23

18. 1 Cor 11: 1

19. 1 Cor 11: 23-29

20. The Living Christ, the Resurrected Lamb of God, loved the church and handed himself over for her to sanctify her that he might present to himself the church in splendor, without spot or wrinkle, that she might be holy and without blemish. The Living God loves his wife as his own body. He loves his wife as He loves himself. For no one hates his own flesh but rather nourishes and cherishes it, as Christ does the church, because we are His Bride, members of his body, the Church.
Saint Paul said, {"For this reason a man shall leave [his] father and [his] mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh."
This is a great mystery, but I speak in reference to Christ and the church.} Eph 5: 31-32
