Summer Gardening in the Monsoon Season, more repotting orchids and summer flowers

Summer gardening can be a challenge, especially in warm, rainy weather. Each June the monsoon season starts in southern Japan and continues on for the next 5 - 7 weeks. It rains about 70% of the time, usually not too hard, but sometimes rains can be torrential. In this video watch as I tackle yet more repotting, clean up my Neofinetia falcata collection for the flowering season and tackle getting a big ficus tree into a bonsai pot. Lots of early summer flowers are to be seen as well. Come along for another “day in the life” of gardening in Japan.
