Mt. Kuju is the name given to both a mountain on the Kuju Plateau as well as this range of volcanic mountains in north-central Kyushu, Japan. This is a video of our climb to the top of Mt. Kuju in late July 2012. This area is protected within the Aso-Kuju National Park and is home to many rare plants and animals, some of them endemic.
