An underrated score by Academy Award Winning composer Stephen Warbeck, "Proof" owns a subtle theme that marries some of the more unlikely instruments together.
The main title for "Proof" seems to underscore the actual, mathematical proof within the movie-- As it causes a great deal of drama within the film and insinuates the double meaning of the title itself.

The main theme is composed with a gentle guitar rift, followed with light, conventional strings and and subtle wind work. Many have compared this work as too similar to Stephen Warbeck's "Shakespeare in Love" theme, but the simple 1, 2, long 3 guitar has little likeness to the aforementioned score.
