2021 Epiphone Lucille vs 2018 Epiphone Lucille

Doing a deeper dive into the 2021 Epiphone Lucille and comparing it to the 2018 Epiphone Lucille. The 2021 Lucille has CTS 500K pots and an analog Varitone switch. The 2018 Lucille has JS branded pots and a printed circuit board for the Varitone control switch. I'm not an expert, by any means, but I'm a fan of analog devices on guitars that aren't something like the Epiphone Extura, which can change it's tone because of the pickups. There was something odd about this comparison, so check it out and see if you can spot it before I reveal it.
