1997 Taylor 810 WMB vs 2023 Taylor 417e-R: The Old Champ vs The New Kid in the Lineup

Taylor has been making dreadnaught guitars for decades. But it hasn't always been the modern Grand Pacific shape. Even now, there are square shoulder dreadnaught models still being made in the Mexico facility. But the new champ is very compelling, as the Grand Pacific, which was designed by Andy Powers, gives a great sound that harkens back to the sound guitars from the past made on classic recordings.
