The kilo that got Officer Baca indicted. What we heard live was much longer more detailed and I would argue incriminating too. But this establishes plenty. A sergeant (Serrano) was involved or at the very least aware somebody entered the narcotics office setting off the alarm only hours before Baca delivered a kilo to an informant. Was it Baca stealing the cocaine or one of his associates? Regardless who did it, everybody who heard the transmissions knew drugs were being stolen. The dispatcher would pretend she is an idiot and the thought never crossed her mind. In fact, the entire department is sticking to that story without so much as a comment years later now. Of course the police will lie and pretend they are the only people on the planet to not see the very crime they themselves are committing. Without knock LA and 2urbangirls, I would have never had the info to attach this recording to. It was very unlikely I would ever learn what police stole that night or what they did with it. Mayor Butts claims nobody is involved from the city. Just Baca himself. Butts can lie if he wants but now you know. Butts ran Narcotics for the city of Inglewood since 1986. Narcitics officers steal drugs, money and property. They sale drugs guns and valuables seized. They are people. They have a department that will look the other way and protect them every step of the way. Johnny only did months on what would be a minimum sentence of decades. He kept his pension. And if im not mistaken, he was present carrying drugs days after his release, when Marcco Ware was shot in the arm a block from my home.
