Joe Dumars & Isiah Thomas Drop 40 on the Celtics in the 2nd Half (1988)

November 11, 1988 - After scoring just five and two points in the first half, respectively, Joe Dumars & Isiah Thomas teamed up to drop 40 on the injury-plagued Boston Celtics on the back half of a 116-107 Pistons win. Surprisingly enough, Thomas' 21 points and Dumars' 19 points made up just two pieces of a high-scoring Pistons triumvirate. Adrian Dantley matched Dumars' 19 second-half points, meaning the trio combined to score 59 of the Pistons' 66 second half points (perhaps Dantley could have been included in the highlight clip above but an exorbitant amount of his points came at the free throw line).
