The Old Elm that kept Growing And Grew Burls Possible woodturning blanks
Over 35 years ago this Elm split bad from an ice storm. We had to cut it down about 10 feet off the ground. We decided to leave that section to use as a limb for a swing. I figured it would stop growing and then some time later we would take the rest down.
