A New Visitor at the Orphanage & a Khanyisa Speed Walk to Meet the Herd!

The orphanage garden has a special visitor! A leopard tortoise! We have to remove it eventually from the garden so that Khanyisa doesn’t step on it. She gets very curious about her guest, touching it with her foot. Herman helps to distract her with some delicious green grass.

After some garden time, Khanyisa heads out to meet the herd and joins Jabulani. The big bull helps himself to some bana grass and then it’s time to head out! Khanyisa has a good speed walk as she joins the elephants.

Spend some time watching the herd as they make their way toward the first foraging area of the morning out in the wilderness.
