Beltin' out some Acadaca with Deraps live at Party Harley, Bar Traffic Saint-Benoît, Quebec, August 3rd 2019. Jacob handles the Bon era, and myself the Brian era. Jake has a much higher chest range than me and can easily handle all the chesty belting songs, whereas my chest voice tends to bottom out in that area, but extends further into the high mixed/head voice area. So all the stupidly high, balls busting stuff like GNR, Brian era AC/DC etc is usually what I'm given the rains to 😂. That being said this song is an absolute bitch to sing 😂, Brian is a complete madman!

Fond memories of this show! This was the first public appearance of our 2019 tour (we'd had one private show prior) with a huge, brand new set of fresh covers and originals to bust out, so there were still some cogs here and there that need oiling! This gig was a biker festival where we traded off 6 sets between another band (Blues Gator-great dudes!) from the afternoon all the way into the early hours of the morning, crazy times! (Apologies for the sound, I was using In-ears so there's nothing coming back to the camera, and the drums are setup in the empty bar, basically a reverb chamber 🤣...but its the vibe that makes it worth watching! 😉)

Boy what a trip it is to watch this footage, this year was the last that the boys in Quebec and I got together for our annual Quebec tour, which was due to become a full-time thing on a much larger scale. I even secured a visa (which is now void) the following year but we all know what happened. Miss the guys so much and its a crime that we haven't been able to play together for over 2 years now. What I can tell you though is that we haven't given up on the dream, the embers of the fire still burns BRIGHT! We have our debut LP album in the can, mixed & mastered ready to roll ASAP. Unfortunately we both reside in two of the states with some of the most ridiculous, inhumane authoritarian measures in the world regarding this current crisis so it's a matter of when these measures are lifted. Many are beginning to see through the cracks so here's hoping this year provides an end to this and the beginning of Deraps! In the meantime enjoy these videos from the "archives" 🤣
