Esperanza Elise: Inside Our Bus Tiny Home (Before Completion)

UPDATE: We are still working on the bus as of 5/1/22. We had bought it as/is for a quite low price and knew it had some mechanical issues. Since we posted this video, we've had our favorite mechanic in Chachagua (Dennis Mora) replace almost part that can be replaced besides the engine, including clutch, fuel pump, alternator, batteries, and many other things. He ripped out and replaced the interior wiring, which was a botch job from Cartago, so the wiring harness is almost completely new as well. If all goes well, we'll pick the bus up this week (first week of May,) drive it for a while to make sure we don't have any recurring issues, and then we'll start focusing on the interior conversion. Since uploading this video, I've lost my phone, which had a fairly decent camera. So there haven't been any new videos for a while. But they're coming. We should have a lot more to show everyone soon.

Have a look inside the bus Michel and I will live in for the foreseeable future. No, it isn't finished. Far from it. We decided to focus on function before form and make sure it all works as it should before building furniture and cabinetry. This may save us some heartache down the road. But for now, see what we've had done to convert it from passenger transit bus to tiny home! So far, we are loving it.
