Chillin' in Costa Rica: Pura Vida is the Best Life
Join Michel and me for a hike to the Atirro River and splash around in the shallows with us and our pack of animals. This video was filmed at the Quijote Rainforest Reserve near Esperanza, Cartago Province, Turrialba District, Costa Rica. We love it here!
Michel and I made a decision in 2020 to break from our "legacy brand" home countries (the U.S. and France) and settle in Central America. We chose Costa Rica because of its microclimates, environmental awareness, developing infrastructure, as well as its political stability and good healthcare system. It seemed like a good place to re-imagine our lives away from urban chaos and the stress of nine-to-five demands. So we bought a 14-meter transit bus and began converting it to a tiny home on wheels, which we live in full time in the mountain rainforest near Turrialba. We make these videos and share them with the world in hopes that people will enjoy this beautiful land through our everyday experiences. Our animals are frequently in front of the lens; they are all rescues, some from the U.S., some from Morocco, and some from right here in Costa Rica. We love them all very much and they are part of our family.
