Cutting mechanism of manual paper cutter

Press the green locking latch to unlock the black lever, then pull the black lever to move the purple knife to cut the stack of paper.
The knife has pegs (red and orange) that move in the slots of the blue frame. It is an application of the slider crank mechanism (black crank, brown connecting rod). The mechanism geometry allows to create propriate trajectory of the knife for cutting operation.
