Turning internal oil grooves

The work (bush) is clamped in the lathe chuck.
The red tool has reciprocating motion thanks to the slider-crank mechanism of the purple connecting rod, where the yellow bevel gear and the pink pin acts as a crank.
The orange bevel gear receives the rotation from the chuck through blue bar.
The transmission ratio of the bevel gear drive is 2.
The combination of rotation of the work and reciprocating motion of the tool produces the eight-shaped oil groove in the bush hole.
Use the brown screw to adjust the depth of the groove.
