What is Probation and what Happens While I'm on it?
Probation is a supervision program that can last 1-3-5 years depending upon the type of crime you've been convicted of in Court (A & B Misdemeanors, E&D Felonies). You must report in weekly initially and then they may relax their supervision as they determine who you are and whether they can trust you or not. If you abide by the rules, you may become eligible for early release from Probation. There is a cost to being on Probation on a monthly basis.
