Zion Williamson - Promising Passer

Watching Zion Williamson is to be in awe of what you’re seeing. Sometimes it can be a little overwhelming with all the different things he does. Zion's got an elegance in his explosiveness, a bit of finesse to his overwhelming force, a soft touch to compliment his sensational springiness, and even though his dunks are destructively violent, he’s a basketball player with very good vision.

When I first saw him, I thought, he’s got the explosiveness of a Dominque and the second jump of a Shawn Marion. His highlights were all caps HIGHLIGHTS, but I didn’t start thinking he was special until I saw him passing. He’s not a ball stopper, not by any stretch; he’ll grab and go, throw ahead, give the ball up early, move off-ball and find gaps. This video is about Zion’s passing ability. His decision making and ability to see a play ahead are largely overshadowed by all the devastating dunks and raw power. I always believed his passing was as much next level as his athleticism when I saw him play in college...and that's why this video ends with some of his best passes as a Duke Blue Devil.
