You definitely grew up in Malaysia if you played these games

In this video we visited the drawbridge in Kuala Terengganu on a boat tour and then we went to the top of it where there's a platform or view point overlooking the city, sea and river.
The next day we went to Kampung Gong Baru where there's a community hall where the locals gather and they showed us how back in the days they entertained themselves with traditional games.
First we had to try the home made kite which was really fun to fly and the first time for us, after we saw a gentleman demonstrating silat - a martial art in Malaysia used for self defence together with keris (traditional malay dagger) back in the days where Malaysia was being conquered by other countries.
After this they showed us a wide variety of traditional games the first was a bamboo pistol/gun where the pistol/gun is made from bamboo, the "bullets" used are seeds and even tho the gun doesn't really shoot anything just makes a noise like a firework noise is really fun to play with, the second was an old version of darts where the darts where made of palm tree leaves, the third one was shooting down rubber bands with a rubber band, the aim of this game was to shoot down rubber band stacks on the rubber rack with a rubber band, sounds really confusing but it's super easy and fun.
After all of this was time for tea and snacks, Malaysian hospitality is by far the best, people here really know how to take care of the visitors and we really appreciate it.
