12 Day Grand Canyon Backpacking/Float Adventure/Royal Arch/North Bass/Tonto Shelf

We started from the Hermit's Rest trailhead, hiked the Tonto trail out to South Bass, then did what is commonly referred to as the Royal Arch loop, which is freaking awesome. From there we dropped down to the South Bass beach, floated across the Colorado River, and went up for a few days before coming back to the river and floated back across. We retraced our steps back along the Tonto Shelf to Hermit's Rest.
