Florida prepares for Hurricane Milton’s expected landfall

Residents in Florida are starting what could be the state’s largest evacuation effort since 2017.

Officials are calling on locals to flee as Category 5 Hurricane Milton approaches.

This is the second major hurricane in less than two weeks.

Forecasters are predicting Hurricane Milton will make landfall on Wednesday and then plough across most of the state as officials are issuing mandatory and voluntary evacuation orders for at-risk areas.
