Major Southern Ocean storm - What it means for NZ & Australia
A very large and deep area of low pressure will form this week and deepen further this coming weekend south of NZ.
The worst of the wintry weather will initially hit Australia (TAS, VIC, NSW) but this weekend and early next week that polar side is more likely to hit NZ (especially the South Island).
We cover which main centres in NZ may get snow (and may not) and where sea level snow is possible.
Full details to Monday next week.
