South Island performs the ol’ switcharoo as North Island prepares for some rain (01/06/21)

Ah the old switcharoo - it’s about to happen in the South Island as heavy rain shifts from the eastern side to the western side over the days ahead.

It’s good news for Canterbury - but not so much for Hawke’s Bay further north with the dry conditions continuing there.

However this weekend and early next week some heavy rain may impact the upper and western North Island - we take a look.
