Australia: Wintry southerly for the SE, another massive high dominates

A high pressure zone larger than Australia itself will dominate the weather pattern over the next 7 days, bringing at least two wintry blasts into the south-east. In particular Tasmania is caught up in it all, but VIC, A.C.T and NSW will be brushed by the colder southerly too, bringing frosty weather into places like Canberra.

For VIC some wet weather will come in - but if you live closer to the NSW or SA borders you may not get much sorry.

Elsewhere, apart from more of those eastern showers, many places are dry with very little weather news to talk about.
