Anthony Albanese not ‘delivering’ to Australians on a ‘raft of fronts’
Nationals Senator Bridget McKenzie says the trend of Australian voters in seats like Dunkley is they “don’t see the Labor Party as being on their side”.
Ms McKenzie’s comments come after the Dunkley by-election, which saw the Labor government retain the seat.
The Nationals Senator said Prime Minister Anthony Albanese “isn’t actually delivering” to the people of Dunkley on a “raft of fronts”.
“I think they need to understand more and more that, that is the actual fact,” she told Sky News Australia.
“It was a really strong result yesterday for Peter Dutton and Nathan Conroy.
“The trend of the Australian voters in these types of seats is that they don’t see the Labor Party as being on their side.”
