Basics of Chainmaille - Opening and Closing Jump Rings- Part 1

Sky Cubacub demonstrates the basics of opening and closing chainmaille for use with CPL Mad Skillz kits that can be picked up from any of the 80 Chicago Public Library locations throughout Chicago.

Sky Cubacub (They/Them/Xe/Xem/Xyr) is a non-binary queer and disabled Filipinx human from Chicago, IL. They are the creator of Rebirth Garments, a line of wearables for trans, queer and disabled people of all sizes and ages, which started in summer 2014.

Radical Fit is a fashion based program through YOUmedia and the Chicago Public Library in partnership with Sky Cubacub. The Radical Fit series embraces craft, making and DIY while providing a safe space for teens to discuss gender equity, and to dream and create through personal expressions of style.
