I thrive in the "I've never been adjusted by a chiropractor" energy. In the last 12 years of practice, the schpiel just kept evolving.

I remember early in practice having difficulty with patients who couldn't relax. I went to a hypnotherapist, not for myself, but to study his techniques and the language he used to get people in a trance. A lot changed from that meeting.

He would say "Listen to the sound of my voice"

And then I translated that to "feel how your breath moves your body."

It works, whether you're getting adjusted, or trying to fall asleep at night.

And if I had a subspecialty, it would be people who have had traumatic experiences, with a chiro or any other type of trauma.
