HOW TO SEW BOXY CUSHION COVER EASY DIY for intermediate sewing skills

Let’s make something today! I have these 2 westelm armchairs that I find so comfortable and so 70s but Im looking at changing the vibe of my mid century modern minimalist living room to a minimal bohemian vibe instead. An easy way to get a bohemian look is always to add more colours and stuff and while adding stuff goes against my minimalism principles and would make me so very nervous, adding colour is the route i’m taking. The cushions i have are boxy type of cushions so they dont just need a top and bottom square or rectangle piece, but they will need a side piece to go all along to give the cushion cover a boxy shape. So in video, I show you how easy it is to sew a boxy cushion cover. Sewing a boxy cushion can be considered a beginner sewing skills project if you already have a few beginner projects under your sleeves, but otherwise, considering the fabric I use is thick, this might be more of an intermediate or advance sewing skills project. Although, I do not use a zipper closure so it will be a good project for beginners to tackle as well. This easy to sew, intermediate sewing skills boxy cushion cover can be used to make floor pillows or even change up your own furniture cushions to get a fresh look in your living spaces without breaking the bank.
