Punjabi Suit Cutting and Stitching Full Tutorial

Hi there fellow sewing enthusiast. In this video, as the title describes, I will show you step by step (as clear as I can be), how to cut and stitch a punjabi suit. In this PUNJABI SUIT CUTTING AND STITCHING FULL TUTORIAL, I will walk you through how I measure and cut the fabric using my own measurements, onto the fabric directly without using a paper pattern. When sewing and cutting fabric to tailor clothing, tailors and seamstresses do not use a paper pattern. You can however, make a paper pattern for yourself first if you are not going to sew as often, as you may forget these steps. Another option would be to save this video so you can refer back to it whenever you need to come back and sew yourself another punjabi suit. I used darts in this video, however, you could leave it out completely if you want a more lose fitted or more of a casual fitted suit. Of course, you could also leave much less of an ease in the seams and add a zipper instead in the back to make this suit more fitted.

Remember, the best way to sew with confidence is to start right now and keep going. I would advice you to start sewing on old bedsheets or bedsheets that you can purchase and thrift stores in order to practice sewing. This way you are not cutting into and wasting good material.
