Cathy is a wife, mother of three, and grandmother of two precious angels. She is from Dallas, TX but lived many years in Alabama and Tennessee and is happy to be back in Dallas. She started her blog in April of 2013 to offer women over 50 someone to relate to in a sea of younger bloggers.

Two months after launching her blog, she was diagnosed with an aggressive breast cancer form (Triple Negative). She went through surgeries, chemo, and radiation and shared the journey with her audience. Now, a seven-year survivor, her greatest privilege is helping other women who have been diagnosed. Plus…she loves fashion!
