The arctic foxes don't have much time to raise their young. The tundra at the northernmost end of Alaska is only free of snow for about 2 months. The snow fox family is correspondingly lively and hectic. When mother fox brings mice, the flock of cubs pounces on her, fights over the prey and jostles at her "milk bar".
