Microsoft has an exciting new project service called project for the web.

The release of project for the web reinforces Microsoft's commitment to the project family. Allowing people to work the way they prefer to work.

Microsoft offers a suite of work management solutions starting with the To Do application which is intended to help individual contributors organize their work.

Then comes the Planner application which is designed for small teams with simple projects that require collaboration and accountability.

Then comes the new Project for the Web which is a perfect fit for small teams that organize work to drive deliverables.

And finally to the big brother Microsoft Project Online which provides a collaboration engine organized around schedule management, resource management, portfolio selection and visibility, document controls, risks and issues and other collaboration capabilities.

All of this can be strengthened with collaboration solutions provided through Teams.

Work management solutions can be extended through the Microsoft Power Platform including Power BI and the available content pack for Project Online which provides great visibility into program and project costs resources and more.

Flow and Power Apps are included to extend the work management family with easy integration and customization of the solutions.

Finally for hard core development teams using Azure Dev Ops integration into Project Online can be added through Flow and Power Apps or through partner based add ons to provide enterprise planning capabilities and visibility into resource and progress in Agile development projects.
