Removing Rust & Chassis Protection - Wheel Arch Welding & Ford Tourneo Seats | Vario Minibus camper

Our Mercedes Vario minibus gets rust removed and treated to some Buzzweld products. We tackle the rusty rear wheel arches and weld in a frame for some new Ford Tourneo Transit seats.

The main action includes restoring the Vario main chassis which was covered in years of rust; thankfully mostly skin deep. We used a needle scaler/gun attachment to remove the top layer of loose rust and then removed the finer rust with an angle grinder and flap disk. The main action for this portion of the video is;

We've decided to use some Ford Transit Tourneo custom seats in our camper conversion. This week we also fixed the oily split gearbox boot;

The rear wheel arches on our 614D minibus were very corroded and had holes in places. This is how we tackled it;
