MaxxAir Fan Deluxe Install + adapter | Removing Unwin rail floor | Mercedes Bus Camper conversion
In this update where we install a Maxxair max fan deluxe and remove unwin rails and the Mercedes Vario bus floor. The hole from our old skylight was larger than the MaxxAir, so we made a metal adapter and bonded this to the roof. We made an unusual frame to secure this.
The minibus floor was secured with 230 high tensile bolts. We wanted to save the wood from the floor and the Unwin rails, so drilling the high tensile bolts or removing the nuts from underneath was the only option to remove the unwin rails. We manage to do this and show how to do it (and how not to do it).
We hope you enjoy the video and would love to hear your comments. Thanks.
