Dairy manure separation test with Trident Wave Separator

A manure separation pilot is a good way to effectively test the best equipment settings and assess the performance of different polymers for specific manure types. The test includes the documentation of the sample’s material characteristics before and after the treatment. Trident pilot equipment is skid mounted and include sensors, flow controls and variable frequency drives for easy adjustments. A small tote of a representative manure sample is usually sufficient for the test.
During the pilot in the video the operator tested a Wave Separator and was able to produce solids cake at about 20% TS in a single pass treatment. The influent measured about 4% TS. But even more impressive is the effluent quality coming of the Wave Separator at less than 0.8% TSS.
