Trump Says Journalist Jailed Over Venezuela 'Leak'

Federal agents searched the home of a Washington Post reporter who allegedly obtained and reported on classified information from a Pentagon contractor.

Press freedom advocates raised concerns about the search, saying it was "a tremendous escalation in the administration's intrusions into the independence of the press" and could endanger confidential sources and impair public interest reporting.
