Greenlanders Protest Against Trump's Takeover Threat

Thousands of Greenlanders marched across snow and ice to take a stand against US President Donald Trump on Saturday.

Trump renewed his push for Greenland, claiming the European Union won’t resist too much.

Trump linked his claims on the Danish territory to not being awarded the Nobel Peace Prize and dismissed the prize, saying he doesn’t care about it.

Trump threatened to impose tariffs on European members of NATO if he doesn’t get control of Greenland, prompting outrage among EU leaders, including French President Emmanuel Macron.
