What if Depeche Mode /The Weeknd Wrote Until it Sleeps (Metallica)

Video 7 of 7 that I'm putting out as an homage to the anniversary of Metallica's sixth album, LOAD. I've already done lots on it, podcasts, music video analysis, bass covers, loud bass remixing, blues cover/mashup... now I wanted to wrap this up with a synthwave-oriented cover and it turned out that the result was very much as if Depeche Mode and The Weeknd decided to cover it, at least to my ears, hehe. I hope you dig it! It took me many hours since there's lots of editing cuts, I also played 100% of the instruments, all the MIDI parts, the e-drums... I obviously got help from Ableton in terms of quantizing and arranging, but that's just how music production is done. I always say that these videos help me grow as a musician since I research about the things I'm working on and it expands my vocabulary and my tool box. I'm a rock/metal fan at heart but I can't help with attempts to broaden my musical palette since there's so much good stuff out there. I always say that the Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius was right when he said "memento mori"meaning that we need to enjoy today, we need to appreciate what we have since life's too short for us to coop up in bubbles and worry about what other people think.
