A Week of Workouts
Workouts of the weeeek—one of my most asked questions but I can honestly say it looks different each week but this is more or less how I like to move!
In an ideal week I love incorporating:
① Strength Training—usually 2-4x a week, I just focus on upper or lower body days
② Yoga—typically hot yoga, at least once a week but sometimes I’ll thrown in flows at home. I love the sweat and maintain my practice/flexibility this way
③ Reformer—to target alll the muscles + for core strength
④ Cardio—could be running, a bootcamp class, tennis or just walking. I don’t do a lot of cardio when I’m lifting
⑤ Active Rest/Recovery—super super important, I take these days whenever I need. Sometimes it’s once a week and sometimes it’s every 10 days, I go by how I feel
I’m not a trainer but I think what’s more valuable than being super rigid about the type of movement you do is consistency. A little movement daily will do you better than trying to overcompensate on other days, and most importantly, movement should be fun 🫶🏼
