The Whangie, a sliced peak - Kilpatrick Hills - Scotland | 4K | DJI Mini 3 Pro

Whangie is a natural wonder in the Kilpatrick Hills, near Glasgow, Scotland. It is a huge crack in the rock that you can walk through and enjoy the views and the adventure. Whangie was formed by a glacier during an ice age, and its name means a slice in old Scots. It is about 10 meters high and 100 meters long, and it attracts walkers, climbers and nature lovers. You can get to Whangie by car from Loch Lomond or Glasgow, and then follow a well marked path that takes about 1.5 to 2 hours to complete. The path can be muddy and steep, but it rewards you with beautiful scenery of the countryside, Loch Lomond and the Campsie Fells. At Whangie, you can have fun walking through the gap in the rocks, climbing on the walls, taking photos of the amazing views, spotting wildlife and having a picnic. The legend says Whangie was created by the devil’s tail which split the hill when he flew over it.
