Uig Sands - Isle of Lewis - Scotland | 4K | DJI Mini 3 Pro

Uig Sands (also known as Ardroil Beach) is located at the western side of Isle of Lewis, the biggest island of Outer Hebrides in Scotland. The size of this beach (in terms of amount of sand) is surreal. At the low tide, you need around 20 minutes through the desert-like patch, just to get to the water line. It looks amazing, especially that it is surrounded by gentle, grassy hills from all sides. Sand is quite bright and water extra clear. Small rocky peninsula is dividing the beach in two. Another low hill is dividing Ardroil from much smaller Carnish Beach (1:23). There is lots of other beautiful spots nearby - small, charming waterfall just below mile away and Glen Valtos - amazing gorge which you need to get through to get to this part of the island.
