Airstar, The first leader of Fernclan, Former rouge, traitor of Treeclan, has regretted his life choices ever since he died and went to the dark forest. Desperately he did anything he could to fix his mistakes, including killing his father's spirit and attempting to get his former apprentice Herontail to not follow in his paw steps. The latter of which failed and only caused the clans greater suffering. One day Airstar finds the border between Starclan and the Dark forest and crosses over, demanding that ge be given a chance to redeem himself. The Starclan cats ridiculed him, believing that he was trying to trick them into sending him back so that he could cause even more damage. But Airstar's brother, Bubbletail, stands up for him, and Starclan sends them both back giving Bubbletail orders to kill Airstar if he does anything to harm the clans.
