ok but in all seriousness Dapplepaw's story isn't finished. what is happening right now is that Dapplepaw was doing terrible when he trained as a warrior, so he tried to run away. but a dark forest cat named Bloodheart convinced him to stay saying he could make a good medicine cat with her help. Afterwards, he started to think very highly of himself believeing that he was better than any other warrior or leader. The only one he saw as better than him was his mentor. However no cat treated him as such, and he became bitter about that. He starts making a plan with Bloodheart to do something (again, work in progress story) and he promises his siblings Chirppaw, Howlingpaw, and Tulippaw safety and power if they just stay out of his way, and they agree not fully understanding what he plans to do. Eventually Tulippaw breaks this promise in some way so Dapplepaw force feeds her death berries. Now Howlingpaw and Chirppaw are scared for themselves and for the clan. Especially Chirppaw, who is also worried about what has gotten into Dapplepaw.
