Elvis Presley - Something - 4 August 1970 Rehearsal Version - Re-edited with RCA/Sony audio

This rehearsal of "Something" which took place within the Convention Center on 4 August 1970. Elvis would then go on to perform the song three times during the first six shows of the ensuing Las Vegas engagement. These six shows were used for principal filming of “That’s The Way It Is” by MGM but none of these versions made it into the final edit of either the 1970 or 2001 edits of the film.
The most famous live version by Elvis, a song he never recorded in the studio, is probably the Aloha version from 14 January 1973 in Hawaii. However, the 1970 versions are probably the finest and most relaxed versions of the song by Elvis.
