CREAM COOKIES (plus recipe)
These cookies look a little bit like macaroons. But they do not contain almonds. So it might have been a sacrilege to call them "macaroons". If you don't like or have advocaat you can of course replace or do without this ingredient. I think vanilla dip is a good substitute - but I haven't tried this alternative by myself.
This is day 5 of my »Seven days, seven cookies« series.

Ingredients for 20 pieces
----------------------------
3 Eggs, separated
2.1 oz Flour (60 g)
1.8 oz Sugar (50 g)
1.05 oz Cornstarch (30 g)
0.07 oz Baking powder (5 g)
1 tbsp Advocaat (optional)
1 Pinch of salt
2.8 oz White Coating (80 g)
0.7 oz Butter (20 g)
4 cl Advocaat
3.5 oz Dark Coating (100 g)
Baking temp.: 356°F (180°C)
Baking time: about 8 minutes
Tips for preparation:
---------------------------
An alternative for advocaat are e.g. vanilla dip or Baileys.
Spread the mixture on a baking plate with baking paper (use a decorating tube).
Let some space between the dough blobs, because they will increase their size inside the oven.
Shake the plate with the blobs a litte bit, then the cookies will become more round.
Preheat the oven when you begin to work, so that you can bake the cookies immediately.
