Bustling Life Along the Irrawaddy - A WALK BESIDE MYANMAR'S LONGEST RIVER

One of my favorite activities is simply to walk around and watch how people work and live their lives in other countries. I would normally take pictures on these walkabouts, but I used my GoPro this time and shot video instead.
And my favorite place for these walkabouts is anywhere near water - along an ocean, around a lake, or, as in this case, beside a river. I walked perhaps four kilometers up the Irrawaddy River starting at the Mingun Jetty in Mandalay. I passed a lot of boats and trucks being loaded and unloaded plus a half dozen additional interesting sights.
Once I reached my destination upriver, I turned around and retraced my steps back along those meandering four kilometers before returning to my hotel to get ready for my flight to Kuala Lumpur the next day.
Cheers,
Douglas (AKA The Cycling Canadian)
