Audi RS6 Avant vs 2021 Mercedes-AMG E63 & E63 S – battle of the stats

The Mercedes-AMG E63 has been given a facelift for 2020, bringing with it meaner looks and an upgraded interior. The company has also given the radical 603bhp E63 S a makeover, too, in a bid to retain its position as the king of super saloons.

The only problem is, the pre-facelift E63 was almost unrivalled in the Q-car segment. It's only real challenger was the BMW M5, but you can't buy the rabid 5 Series in Touring from.

Now, though, the E63 will face strong competition from the new Audi RS6 Avant. The key question is, has Mercedes done enough to keep its spot at the top of the Q-car pile?
